Fabio Cané is a Partner and joined Renaissance in 2015.
He has been involved in a number of transactions including Lima Corporate, Ilpea, Fila, Pavan, Esaote, Engineering, Comelz, Rino Mastrotto, SICIT, Inetum, Neopharmed and U-Power.
Prior to Renaissance, from 2005 to 2014 he held a number of roles at Intesa Sanpaolo including Head of Private Equity; Head of Investment Banking with responsibility for M&A, ECM, DCM and structured finance with assets of over €10bn; and Head of Restructuring & Special Situations. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Canè was co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yoox (now YNAP). Previously, he was a Partner at Bain & Co. in Milan.
Mr. Canè is a board member and chairman of the Buyout Committee of AIFI, the Italian Association of Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt.
Mr. Canè graduated cum laude in Business Administration from LUISS University and received an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Mr. Canè is a Certified Public Accountant.

Marco Cerrina Feroni is a Partner and joined Renaissance in 2015.
He has been involved in a number of transactions including Sigma Tau, Stroili, Alfasigma, Camfin Pirelli, Novamont, Rina, Comelz, Uteco, Hydro Holding and Arbo.
Prior to Renaissance, from 2000 to 2014 he was Head of Merchant Banking at Intesa Sanpaolo with responsibility for a €2.6bn investment portfolio, including private equity direct and fund investments, strategic investments and debt to equity swaps. Prior to that, Mr. Cerrina Feroni held a number of roles in the Corporate and Investment Banking Group at Intesa Sanpaolo, including Head of Equity Capital Markets, Head of Global Equities, and Head of M&A and Restructuring.
Mr. Cerrina Feroni graduated cum laude in Business Administration from Bocconi University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. De Bustis graduated from Link Campus University of Malta in Rome.
Prior to Renaissance, he was a Vice President of the Private Equity Group and Associate of the M&A Advisory Group at Intesa Sanpaolo. Mr. De Bustis started his career as an Analyst at Paris & Partners Corporate Finance and Argy Venture Capital.

Luca Deantoni is a Partner and joined Renaissance in 2015.
He has been involved in a number of transactions including Farnese Vini, Uteco, Arbo and Neopharmed.
Prior to Renaissance, he was CFO at EcorNaturaSì (leading Italian organic food supermarket chain), which he joined in 2012 spearheading a successful leveraged minority buyout, and Partner of Finanziaria Canova, an Italian investment firm, from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, Mr. Deantoni worked at Credit Suisse, where he was a Director of DLJ Merchant Banking Partners (Credit Suisse’s private equity investment arm) from 2007 to 2009. From 1996 to 2007, Mr. Deantoni was a member of the European Investment Banking Group, based in London and Milan, with various responsibilities including Head of European Specialty Retail and Luxury.
Mr. Deantoni graduated cum laude in Economics from Bocconi University.

Piero Galli is an Operating Partner and joined Renaissance in 2019.
He has been involved in a number of portfolio companies including Engineering, Uteco and Inetum.
Prior to Renaissance, he served as Director and Partner of Bain & Co. in Italy for 21 years, where he founded and ran the TMT practice serving both Italian and global clients. Subsequently, Mr. Galli served as General Manager of Milan Expo 2015, the universal world fair taking place every 5 years, which welcomed 140 participating countries and over 22 million visitors. Mr. Galli started his career as a business developer of Cameli & Co. Group, a large Italian industrial conglomerate, after having served as a controller of local newspapers of Editoriale l’Espresso, the largest Italian publishing company.
Mr. Galli graduated cum laude in Business Administration from Genova University.

Antonio Sala is an Operating Partner and joined Renaissance in 2015.
Mr. Sala is Operating Advisor and member of the Board of Directors of Rino Mastrotto and Arbo. Previously, he was Executive Vice President of Farnese Vini (portfolio company until March 2020). Before joining Renaissance, he was CEO of the Galbani Group and Deputy General Manager Corporate Affairs of Groupe Lactalis in France. He has 31 years of experience in multinational companies, in consulting and consumer goods (food).
A graduate of Bocconi University in Milan, he was awarded the title of BAA Alumnus by the BAA Association in Paris in 2014.

Andrea Vallini, Operating Partner and Sustainability & ESG Practice Leader
Andrea Vallini is an Operating Partner and Sustainability & ESG Practice Leader and joined Renaissance in 2021.
Mr. Vallini is Operating Advisor and member of the Board of Directors of SICIT Group. He started his career in the Corporate Finance team of the Ferruzzi-Montedison Group, leading several M&A transactions in the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Energy sectors. After a period at Bain & Co, he spent 4 years at Edison as Director of Finance & Control. He has extensive experience in defining strategic corporate initiatives and in corporate planning and development, having served as CEO of Marsh Italia and as a member of the EMEA Executive Committee.
Mr. Vallini graduated cum laude in Business Administration from Bocconi University and holds a Master in Executive Management from INSEAD.

Nevena Batchvarova is a Principal and joined Renaissance in 2022 with responsibility for Fundraising and Investor Relations.
Prior to Renaissance, she was responsible for Investor Relations at Ambienta SGR, which she joined in 2018. Prior to that, Ms. Batchvarova was a senior investment professional at Green Arrow Capital and DeA Capital Alternative Funds in Milan, where she focused on primary investments, secondaries and co-investments. She was also an investment associate with Coller Capital’s global investment team and an executive with Campbell Lutyens’ fundraising team in London. Ms. Batchvarova started her career as an analyst at Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking division in New York.
Ms. Batchvarova graduated with an AB in Public Policy and International Relations from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.

Ms. Carmina has over 12 years of experience advising Italian and foreign companies, listed and non-listed, in relation to mergers, demergers, acquisitions/sale and capital increases, as well as in connection with regulatory and corporate matters. Prior to joining Renaissance, Ms. Carmina was a Managing Associate in the Corporate & Finance team of Legance Avvocati Associati in Milan. She began her legal career with Lombardi Molinari & Associati.
Ms. Carmina graduated cum laude in law from Bocconi University and received a M.Sc. in Law from Bocconi University. She qualified at the Milan Court of Appeal.

Paloma Lopez Imizcoz is a Sustainability & ESG Manager and joined Renaissance in 2023 with a responsibility for ESG, Responsible Investing and sustainable growth.
She works closely with the Investment team and portfolio companies to deliver tangible value through sustainability.
Ms. Lopez Imizcoz has over 8 years of experience in the strategic sustainability and circular economy field, advising corporates and financial institutions in the integration of ESG topics within business management.
Prior to Renaissance, she was Senior Manager in the Deals & Strategy practice of PwC Italy, which she joined in 2021 to boost the growth of the ESG Strategy & Value creation practice. Prior to that, she was an ESG Rating Senior Analyst within the Cerved Rating Agency (Cerved Group). Paloma started her career as a Sustainability Project Manager in a multinational food and packaging company based in Argentina, where she was focused on sustainability projects within supply chain management.

Alexandra Ciacareanu, Head Of Compliance & Risk Management
Alexandra Ciacareanu is Head of Compliance and Risk Management and joined Renaissance in 2024.
Prior to joining Renaissance, Mrs. Ciacareanu worked in the regulatory advisory practice of the Luxembourg law firm, Arendt & Medernach, and before that she was a Conducting Officer for a Luxembourg authorised alternative investment fund manager (AIFM), in charge of compliance, AML and risk management functions.
Mrs. Ciacareanu started her career in audit and worked within two of the audit and consultancy firms, part of the Big Four, EY and KPMG, where she held several positions spanned over 10 years.
Mrs. Ciacareanu holds an Engineer diploma from the Politehnica University in Bucharest, a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from the Luxembourg School of Business and is a certified chartered accountant (ACCA).

Mario Marozzi is FInance Manager joined Renaissance in 2024.
Prior to Renaissance, he spent nearly 20 years in executive finance roles with multinational listed companies in the Engineering, Energy, and Space sectors. Mr. Marozzi has extensive international experience, having lived and worked for a decade in Central and South East Asia and Latin America before relocating to Luxembourg in 2018.
He is a lecturer in Finance and Performance Measurement at the Luxembourg School of Business since 2022.
Mr. Marozzi holds an MBA cum laude and a Master’s in Financial Services Industry from the Luxembourg School of Business, as well as a Master’s in Corporate Management and Administration from the University of Parma. He holds executive education certifications in Valuation (ACCA), M&A (New York Institute of Finance), and Alternative Investments (Harvard Business School).

Mr. Santoiemma started his career in Société Européenne de Banque in Luxembourg where he led the Corporate Banking & Private Equity activities.

Sidrak Mekonen is a Risk Manager and joined Renaissance in 2025.
He works within the Risk Management Function of Renaissance AIFM S.à.r.l. (“AIFM”) in Luxembourg.
Prior to joining Renaissance, Mr. Mekonen started his career in 2020 as a consultant in a regulatory consulting firm in Luxembourg. During his time in consulting, he assisted various national and international Investment Fund Managers (“IFMs”) with their risk management related obligations, including the different reporting obligations towards the CSSF, Luxembourg’s National Competent Authority.
Mr. Mekonen holds a Master of Science in Finance & Bachelor of Science in Economics & Business, from the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Giuseppe Angrisani is an Associate and joined Renaissance in 2025.
Prior to joining Renaissance Partners, Mr. Angrisani worked with a real estate asset manager in Luxembourg, Savills Investment Management, where he specialized in Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Risk Management, holding a multifunctional role within the firm's operations. Before that, he was part of the regulatory advisory practice of the Luxembourg law firm, Arendt & Medernach.
Mr. Angrisani holds a Master’s degree from the University of Bath and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom.
